Terms of Use â Fall Back: On Me
These Terms of Use govern your use of Fall Back: On Me ("Fall Back"), a mobile application provided by ADMIN Foundry, LLC. By downloading, accessing, or using Fall Back, you agree to these Terms.
About Fall Back
Fall Back is a personal organization and tracking utility designed to help you remember everyday tasks, responsibilities, maintenance, routines, and other things that may be easy to overlook.
The app may allow you to record completion dates, maintain history, create reminders, track vehicle mileage and maintenance, add notes, store information about household items, appliances, equipment, and other things you choose to track, and organize other information you choose to enter.
Personal Use
Fall Back is provided for lawful personal use. You are responsible for the information you enter into the app and for how you choose to use that information.
You may not misuse Fall Back, attempt to interfere with its normal operation, reverse engineer it except where permitted by applicable law, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Reminders and Notifications
Fall Back may provide optional reminders and notifications as a convenience to help you keep track of items you choose to enter.
Reminders and notifications are not guaranteed. Their delivery may be affected by device settings, notification permissions, operating system behavior, battery settings, software updates, device failures, or other circumstances outside ADMIN Foundry's control.
You remain responsible for remembering and completing important tasks even when you choose to use Fall Back reminders.
Not for Safety-Critical Reliance
Fall Back is intended as a convenience and personal reference tool. It should not be used as the sole method of tracking or remembering tasks where failure to perform the task could result in serious injury, death, property damage, or another significant safety risk.
You are responsible for using appropriate independent methods to manage safety-critical inspections, maintenance, medications, emergency equipment, or other critical responsibilities.
Vehicle Maintenance Information
Fall Back may allow you to record vehicle information, odometer readings, maintenance history, service intervals, and other vehicle-related information.
Fall Back does not provide professional automotive, mechanical, engineering, or safety advice.
Maintenance intervals entered into the app, including mileage and time intervals, should be verified against the recommendations provided by your vehicle manufacturer or a qualified automotive professional.
Vehicle maintenance requirements can vary based on vehicle model, engine, age, driving conditions, modifications, service history, and other factors.
Mileage and Maintenance Calculations
Fall Back may calculate information such as miles driven since a recorded service, miles remaining before a user-entered interval, or whether a tracked maintenance item appears to be due.
These calculations depend on the accuracy of the information you provide, including odometer readings, completion mileage, dates, and maintenance intervals.
Fall Back does not automatically detect or track your vehicle's current mileage. Mileage-based information may become inaccurate if you do not periodically update the vehicle's odometer reading in the app.
Fall Back may offer optional reminders to update your vehicle mileage. These reminders are provided for convenience and do not automatically update or verify your vehicle's actual mileage.
Fall Back does not automatically determine the actual mechanical condition of a vehicle. You are responsible for verifying all maintenance information before relying on it.
Items, Equipment, and Household Information
Fall Back may allow you to store information about items you choose to track, including appliances, equipment, vehicles, home systems, lawn and garden equipment, pool equipment, boats, pet-related items, and other personal property or responsibilities.
Information such as model numbers, serial numbers, installation dates, service information, notes, custom details, and other user-entered information is provided for your personal reference.
Fall Back does not independently verify the accuracy, condition, safety, warranty status, service requirements, or specifications of items you enter.
Photos
Fall Back may allow you to add photos to items you choose to track, such as equipment labels, model or serial number information, appliances, vehicles, or other images you want to keep with an item.
You are responsible for the photos you choose to add and for ensuring that you have the right to store and use those photos.
Photos are intended for personal reference within the app and should not be used as the sole record of information that is critical to safety, ownership, warranty coverage, or legal documentation.
User-Entered Information
Fall Back relies on information you provide. ADMIN Foundry does not guarantee that user-entered dates, mileage, notes, intervals, categories, item details, photos, or other information are accurate or complete.
You are responsible for reviewing and correcting your information when necessary.
Presets and Suggested Intervals
Fall Back may include preset items, example categories, suggested intervals, or other general information intended to make the app easier to use.
Presets and suggested intervals are provided for general convenience only and may not be appropriate for every person, home, appliance, vehicle, pet, product, or situation.
Always follow applicable manufacturer instructions, professional recommendations, product documentation, and other authoritative guidance when determining how often something should be serviced, replaced, inspected, or completed.
Manufacturer Apps and Services
Fall Back is designed to provide a convenient place to organize and track information you choose to enter. It is not a replacement for manufacturer-provided apps, services, alerts, instructions, diagnostics, recalls, safety notices, or maintenance information.
Manufacturer apps and connected products may have access to device-specific information, sensors, vehicle data, diagnostic information, or other information that Fall Back cannot access or automatically verify.
If you choose to disable or silence notifications from another app or service, you are responsible for determining whether those notifications contain important safety, maintenance, warranty, recall, diagnostic, or other information that should remain enabled.
Local Data and Data Loss
Fall Back is designed to store user-entered tracking information, item details, completion history, notes, photos, vehicle information, and other app data locally on your device.
Data may be lost if the app is deleted, the device is lost or damaged, storage becomes corrupted, the operating system removes information, a backup fails, or another technical problem occurs.
ADMIN Foundry is not responsible for the loss of locally stored information. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device backups where desired.
Purchases and the App Store
Fall Back may be distributed as a paid application through Apple's App Store.
Purchases, refunds, payment processing, and App Store account services are handled by Apple and may also be subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.
ADMIN Foundry does not receive or store your payment card information.
Apple App Store Terms
If you obtain Fall Back through Apple's App Store, your use of the app is also subject to applicable Apple terms and conditions.
Where applicable, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of Fall Back.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, improve, remove, or discontinue features of Fall Back from time to time.
We do not guarantee that Fall Back or every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or future operating system version.
Intellectual Property
Fall Back: On Me, including its software, design, branding, graphics, original content, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to ADMIN Foundry, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Fall Back: On Me or ADMIN Foundry intellectual property to you.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fall Back is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
ADMIN Foundry does not warrant that Fall Back will always operate without interruption or error, that reminders will always be delivered, or that information displayed by the app will always be accurate or appropriate for your particular circumstances.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ADMIN Foundry, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use Fall Back.
This includes, without limitation, losses resulting from missed reminders, inaccurate or outdated user-entered information, vehicle or equipment maintenance decisions, data loss, device failure, or reliance on information presented by the app.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Privacy
Your use of Fall Back is also subject to the Fall Back: On Me Privacy Policy, which explains how information associated with the app is handled.
Changes to These Terms
ADMIN Foundry may update these Terms as Fall Back evolves or as legal, technical, or operational requirements change.
When these Terms are updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
Continued use of Fall Back after updated Terms become effective means the updated Terms will apply to your continued use of the app.
